Nominee’s Bio: Mary Lynn is the rector at St. Andrew's by-the-Sea in San Diego, where she has served almost three years. Before that she was assistant rector at St. Bartholomew's in Poway. A native of Kansas City, her love for San Diego keeps growing. She lives with her husband David and their two sons in Clairemont.

Nominee’s Statement in Favor of Their Candidacy:I would be honored to serve as a delegate to General Convention. For this year's convention I served as an alternate, and learned so much in the process of preparing for convention. I see God's spirit moving powerfully in the governance of our church, and I believe in its potential for transformation. I'm committed to listening and growing in this process, specifically from those who have historically been marginalized by our church polity, as indigenous, Black and brown, Latinx, AAPI, and LGBTQ+ Episcopalians lead us in this moment of reckoning, truth-telling, and justice. I love our church, and am eager to take part in broader conversations across the Episcopal Church, connecting the transformative power of the gospel in our lives as individuals and communities.
